Egg Experiment

After an egg has been sitting in vinegar for a number of days, the shell dissolves and we are left with a raw egg surrounded by a soft shell. After the egg was set in 300 milligrams of water mixed with 100 milligrams of corn syrup, its composition completely changed.

With each day, the egg became softer and decreased in mass. From this experiment i have concluded that the more corn syrup in the mixture, the more the egg will decrease in mass due to the water being sucked out of the egg. The more water in the the mixture, the more the egg will weigh because of the water soaking inside the egg with no corn starch to dehydrate the egg.
